Russia's brazen and insidious invasion on February 24, 2022, changed the lives of Ukrainians forever. Millions of our citizens, saving their lives and the lives of their loved ones, were forced to leave their homes and seek refuge throughout Ukraine and abroad.
Many of those Ukrainians who have been fleeing the war in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts since 2014 and found a new home in towns and villages in eastern Ukraine are now forced to to go further west again, to start your life again from the beginning. But together we will go through these trials! We will help each other and stand up for each other even in the most difficult moments. Because we are the only Ukraine. We are one nation!
That's why we decided to create this diary and we invite you to share your stories on its pages here and now, because the story of every Ukrainian man, every family, the suffering and loss we have experienced is our common pain that we have live together.
If you have been displaced or otherwise affected by the Russian invasion, please tell us your story. It will not only express your solidarity with other Ukrainians, but will also tell the world about the realities of the war and the challenges of forced resettlement.
